Refund Policy
Fair, Clear and Transparent.
Understand how refunds and purchase-related issues are handled for Sam & Max digital educational products.
Draft document. This page is a structured draft. Verified business details (legal name, address, contacts, dates and jurisdiction) must be completed and the document reviewed for the seller's actual jurisdiction before it is presented as a final legal document.

1. Digital Product Purchases
Sam & Max sells downloadable digital educational resources, such as PDF e-books and printable activity materials. The seller responsible for your purchase and for handling refund requests is Emprezz s.r.o., trading as Sam & Max Money Adventures, registered in the Czech Republic (Company ID: 21329362). The applicable refund and cancellation information is presented before you complete a purchase.
Because digital content rules differ between countries, your rights may depend on where you live, whether digital delivery has begun and whether required consents were collected at checkout.
2. Change-of-Mind Requests
Our voluntary change-of-mind policy has not been finalized and will be published here before digital checkout launches. [To be completed before publication: change-of-mind refund period]
For UK and EU consumers, the statutory cancellation period for digital content can be lost once download or streaming begins — but only where you gave express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the cancellation right. Where those conditions are not met, your statutory cancellation right is preserved. For US customers, applicable federal and state consumer protection rules apply. Customers elsewhere keep any mandatory local rights.
3. Faulty or Incorrect Products
If something is wrong with your purchase, tell us and we will put it right. This includes:
- Corrupted or unreadable files.
- Incorrect files delivered.
- Missing access after a successful payment.
- Products materially different from their description.
- Other delivery or technical problems.
Depending on the situation and applicable law, we may repair or replace the files, restore access or issue a refund. Your statutory remedies for faulty or misdescribed digital content are not limited by this policy.
4. Duplicate Payments
If you are accidentally charged twice for the same order, contact us with both order references. Verified duplicate charges will be investigated and corrected, typically by refunding the duplicate payment.
5. School and Classroom Licenses
Institutional purchases (classroom packs and school licenses) are enquiry-based and governed by the specific terms presented and agreed before purchase or contract acceptance. Refund and cancellation conditions for those licenses will be stated in those terms; none are promised here in advance.
6. How to Request Help or a Refund
Contact us through our contact page and choose “Refund Request” or “Order Support”. Please include only:
- Your order reference.
- The email address used for the purchase.
- The product name.
- A brief explanation of the issue.
Never send full payment card numbers — we do not need them to help you.
7. Processing and Payment Reversals
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider. The time for a refund to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank; we will confirm once a refund has been issued, but we do not guarantee a specific timeline we cannot control.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country or state. Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory right, the mandatory right prevails.
